How Long does a website take?
We’re frequently asked how much a website costs. Our rate is $136/Hour which makes Geeks on the Beach Web Agency something of a value relative to our peers. Now that we know our hourly rate the real question is how long will your project take. And the answer is “that depends…”. Below are some rough guidelines that may give you a sense of how long things take. Every project is unique. They are included in the hope that they may be useful in offering a general sense of how long various types of website take to build and roughly what you can expect at various price points:

25 hours
A beautiful one or two page landing page. Stylish, professional, thoughtfully designed and search engine optimized (in as far as a one or two page website can be). If you’re just starting out or are testing a new product or service, this is a great place to start knowing in advance that they can be expanded into a larger multi-page website as your business expands. 25 Hours is also about as quickly as we can design and configure a simple Shopify e-commerce site

A typical 5ish page small-business website. Usually consisting of a homepage, 3 or so product or service pages, and a contact page. Each page is an opportunity to tell your story to visitors and the search engines alike.

55 – 75 hours
This is the sweet spot when you need something more sophisticated than a small-business site but not anything as fancy or time-consuming as our larger offerings. Extra pages, useful features (think booking and reservations, events, advanced blogs, simple e-commerce, directories and more…), more sophisticated design elements, and improved SEO.
